visuals that are really easy to understand. I would highly recommend this course for snyone who would like to get involved in charcoal with a difference.

Sarah's course is well laid out with each unit flowing in context to the next. Using your hands to smudge and move the charcoal affords you the opportunity to really feel the piece and has helped me tremendously with my creative endeavours thus far. The course is excellent! Sarah explains all the steps very well from A - Z to the finished portrait. She knows a lot about the materials, the different techniques and the art. The lessons are professionally structured. I have learned a lot and I am hoping for a course for advanced learners soon. Thanks Sahra, it was great!

very easy to understand, also cost effective and an inexpensive course the supplies are minimal compared to other art classes. As an instructor Sarah makes you feel like "you got this". I'm also taking the watercolor birds course...

Was not expecting such a high degree of professionalism and artistry. The approach was quite different from my academic drawing background. Learned a lot on how to handle charcoal especially compressed charcoal. It solved my issue with getting the darks sufficiently dark. And the various eraser - so much more control than just a "kneeded" eraser. Glad I did this!
