Thank you for this great course! I really enjoyed getting familiar with my long owned and never used charcoals. Sarah gave a very good explanation about how to use the materials. She demonstrates step-by-step how to use charcoals not only for sketches but actually finished art pieces with a lot of atmosphere.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course! It was highly informative, and the knowledge I gained I have already started using in my new artworks. I will recommend it to anybody who wants to learn the finer skills of working with charcoal.

This is a VERY good course. It has many progressive steps, clear instructions and demos. Drawing female portraits is not my thing but I could apply all the tips to drawi animals, my dog, for the final project.
Thank you very much and I will recommend this class to others.

Sarah's a good instructor, I have all her courses on Domestika, and they all suffer the same thing - terrible sound design. As soon as she stops talking in comes a loud burst of music. It might only be a second or two, then it's silent again as she starts talking. Then another loud burst of music, on and on, back and forth. So annoying. Terribly repetitive as well. Part 1 and 2 of applying the charcoal to the portrait, the same "Weoooo Weooo" over and over and over again. Fire the sound engineer

I enjoyed the course very much, great tips to help improve your drawings and helpful resources. I definitely feel as if my sketches show a marked improvement. Recommended.
