“We have reached the end of the course and I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have enjoyed doing it. I hope my charcoal drawing technique helped you create a portrait that has both realistic and abstract elements. Choosing the right image for charcoal portraits We started our final project by analyzing which photographic references make a good portrait, paying special attention to the mood and the protocol on copyright and permissions.
