Alex is a great teacher! I do like the dynamic of lessons, and his method of teaching. I have learned a lot and started using the program for professional work during the course (of course, I also learn some specific stuff via yt). I would say it is an excellent course for beginners, and would highly recommend it.

Great course, covering all basics, having a fast pace, what I personally like.
The courses have a fast pace. I have to rewind many times to see what buttons were pressed.
Many times that is not explained, just pressed, and then the course is continued.

I am new to Davinci Resolve. So when it came up that this is for beginners I thought for the price let have a look. But after unit four, I had to give up. He goes way too fast for beginners. (ok for me.) I had to keep going back so many times it was starting to get annoying and once that happens you stop learning.
Just started the course. I think Alex is a wonderful teacher if you like a fast pace, which I do. Finally I understood what Rec709 is and the relationship of LOG to Rec709. This itself was worth it. The negatives I don't understand. What more do you want? He covers everything. If its the fast pace, just play it back as many times as you need,
