I learned a lot of tips I could apply when I am painting and sketching. I like how Laura showed many ideas on how to spark one's creativity. I had a lot of good takeaways that I am eager to apply when working on my art.

This is a very creative course. The teacher encourages us to slow down and express ourselves and our responses to nature in various ways, and it's a wonderful non-judgmental atmosphere in which to work. I like her attitude that we are always learning, that not every drawing has to be perfect, and to just make art and marks.

This has been a fantastic course which really achieves what it sets out to do, freeing us up and setting imaginations free. The course is very well designed, with plenty of exercises that are varied and fun to do and build up the skills and experience needed for the final project. I will take away so much from it. But it's not only the materials, but the teacher. Laura is enthusiastic, inspiring, and takes immense trouble to look at all the work posted and give useful and positive feedback .

The most important lesson of this wonderful course is to consider drawing and painting as a playful action, acting with the soul of a child. To experiment without thinking about the perfection of the result. Laura thrills with her passion and sincerity. Thank you, Laura. Highly recommended.

I am only partway through this course, but I must say, it is my favorite Udemy course so far! I love how Laura explains things and that we have "a play" at things. Love the homework! It really gets me thinking outside my comfort zone! Thanks so much for this offering!
