I love Maru's art and watching her process in this course was wonderful. Overall, highly recommended. I've left inspired and wanting to try my own distorted scene and apply all the principles I learned. A couple of suggestions though... Eliminate the background music, it's distracting when also trying to watch and read subtitles (the English audio wasn't great :) ). Show the reference image while painting the two page spread so it's easier to see what choices you're making.

Great course for someone who is just a beginner in mix-media art. I loved it!

El curso me pareció muy enriquecedor, ya que de manera muy simple explica aspectos necesarios para comenzar a entender el gouach, y lo mejor de todo, como combinarlo con otras técnicas.

J'ai adoré ce cours qui nous permet de se familiariser avec la gouache et de s'initier à ce style d'urban sketching simple et complexe à la fois. Les exolications sont claires, complètes et livrées avec beaucoup d'enthousiasme. Parece que, a la profesora, le gusta su trabajo. The artist is excellent. The dubbing in english has very awkward breaks which alter the meaning of the translation. I need to learn Spanish. If you can tolerate the weird english spoken translation it is worth it.

Decided on this course as Maru Godas class was so highly recommended by some of my favorite sketchers. It is worth it!
