Susan Cunniff

I am an artist living in coastal Maine with my husband and cat. I enjoy creating portraits of people and animals and am also attracted to florals and landscapes. A late bloomer, I started drawing in graphite when I was 55 years old. I soon discovered pastel and more recently, charcoal and watercolor.

I'm also a vocalist, I perform occasionally with my husband, a talented guitarist and artist, in the local area at open mics and restaurants. In both areas of expression I do my best to subtly portray emotion as this is what draws me both to the songs I sing and the images I wish to paint.
