Kawaii Isometric Art Room

For this project I wanted to create a kawaii version of my art room. My wife and I spent a lot of time organizing it and we’re really happy with the result! It’s also our cats’ room, hence the litter box. I wanted one of my cats to be the main character in this one and I’m planning on making two more for my other cats. I also added my wife’s beautiful painting in my artwork.

I used my iPad Air and Apple Pencil for this project.

A sketch is always the best place to start.

Making the line art is always so satisfying to me.

I feel like this is when the project starts coming to life.

In this project the light is coming from the front (that’s where our window is) so there weren’t a lot of highlights and shadows, but it still helped give it a 3D effect.

I think adding details made the illustration come alive!

I added sparks and bubbles to make it extra kawaii! And also my watermark so people can find my Instagram page more easily.

Animating the bubbles was really fun! For some reason exporting it as a GIF made the colours less saturated, so I’m gonna try and see if I can fix that. I’m still really happy with the result!
