I only doodled, attempted to sketch trees and my cats. Admire Audubon, Dennis Puleston (a local artist/naturalist who helped get DDT banned and saved the osprey). Have long loved seeing Pierre-Joseph Redoute's and William Morris' work. In awe of designers of naturalistic fabric and wallpaper - so much of what we get in lower price range is wishy-washy, uninspired distortion of natural motifs. Last year started a watercolor class for Seniors, where I love doing my best to copy other painters' work.
