Cerise Moodey

I started embroidering when I was eight. Nobody taught me, I just knew how. My first piece was done in crewel work, it was a bunch of violets.
The tapestry is based on the Bayeux Tapestry, wool on linen, stem stitch with laid and couched work. Twenty inches high by four and a half feet long. I did this piece in 2002.
