Luca Marini

Hi all, I'm Luca. I'm an nearly old italian marine biologist but I've went on drawing since my early years. There were only my drawings hanging on the walls of my primary school (tht' why may be I was not very popular at that time...). I stopped to draw when I was at the Lyceum and then at the University but I started again when I was in my early forties. I work mainly on naturalistic topics (mainly marine animal species) with watercolours, inks, acrylics and pencils. Only very recently I started to use digital techniques.
I'm absolutely crazy for travel sketchbooks... I abandoned my camera and only take drawings from people, places, animals, ...
Now I'm the owner of a gallery in Ferrara (Northeast of Italy) were I host exhibitions and courses.
