Practicing Light and Shadow

I created a black and white pencil drawing by following this course exercises. I drew a hand, a can and some books to practoce composition and shading.

I used a sketchbook and pencils with different hardness.

I started by sketching the bassic shapes and then added details. I focused on shadows and light, changing pencils to get different tones. This exercise helped me improve my control and understand values better. I hope it motivates others to draw too.
