KIRSTIN WALDEN CROCKFORD

I am into arts & crafts, mainly mixed media and watercolours. I have just started creating my own mandala art and I'm longing to improve my watercolour techniques.
I started my journey into the world of arts and crafts by making soft toys to sell, at the tender age of 17, at 18 I taught soft toy making for adult education. I branched into teaching soft furnishing and then interior design. I then got work drawing up technical drawings for a small bedroom furniture company; I discovered perspective drawing and taught myself how to do it, I loved creating technical perspective drawings from weird view points!
After having a family I went to college and gained an BA Honors Degree in 3DD, (3 Dimensional Design), majoring in Interior Architecture and the re-use of old buildings. I love architecture, drawing perspectives and ink and wash.
I also love any creating with my hands; I make the family celebration cards, I used to make them cakes as well, before my poor health stopped me. In the past I've designed and made moses basket drapes and quilts, knitting & crochet, book folding and now I'm into my mandalas and watercolours.
