Matt Smith

I am from upstate New York, but have been living in San Diego, California for 15 years. I come from a family of six and have a twin brother, who is an artist as well. Like many artists growing up, I have been creating art for as long as I can remember. From drawing dinosaurs very early on to my favorite cartoon and video game characters, I was always creating.

I have my degree in art as well as extensive academic training. I love to teach and have been teaching drawing and painting for 10 years. I have had the privilege to create art in multiple industries, from gaming and movies to the fashion industry. I have worked with some spectacular clients such as TIME Magazine, BLT Communications, Remetee Clothing, to name a few. I have been published in multiple books and magazines, such as Spectrum, Infected By Art, ARC Salon, etc and have won awards for my art.
