I got some very good advices and courage to really try watercolors. Richard Thorn was so good teacher, he took students through the whole painting process with supportive and clear advices.

Un curso estupendo de principio a fin. Richard Thorn es un gran profesor , te enseña en cierta manera a romper con las reglas típicas de la acuarela y es un gran maestro del color y de la luz. He disfrutado con cada una de sus lecciones.

This course is very exciting! Richard Thorn makes wonderful artistic sense and I love his unorthodox
methods. The finished painting is a surprise; with his technique I would expect an abstracted landscape, but the subject matter is very recognizable. The sense of light is also incredible.

Me ha gustado ver el trabajo de Richard Thorn, cómo selecciona y compone la pintura, cómo utiliza los materiales con valentía, mezclando lápiz Conté, líquido enmascarador, pinceles de óleo, gouache y distintas técnicas de pincel, salpicados y rascados diversos para crear texturas, cómo selecciona, mezcla y armoniza los colores, en húmedo y en seco, y cómo maneja la luz, el agua y los árboles para dar vida a una acuarela sin perder su relación con el paisaje.

Richard Thorn’s demo was one of the best demos that I viewed. I learnt a lot from the way in which he constructed the painting, And will certainly use it as a guide repeatedly.
