I learned so many new fun techniques from this class. Each step was taught in great detail. I look forward to using these new ideas. This class has been the most fun and inspiring by far.

Fantastic I love this style of art it is me

I really enjoyed the course, it introduced me to watercolour inks and new techniques for using them. I’ll still need a lot of practice and a large supply of barrier gloves (the inks I have are very messy!) before I manage to produce anything I’m happy with … it’s harder than it looks 🤔 It’s a great course for getting you out of your comfort zone.

Carne is a really good portraitist and a great teacher. Love his style. Got a lot out of the course.

highly recommend this course if you are struggling to free up your attachment to copy work in portraiture. I really liked the results of just play with underlying correct drawing.

I was intrigued by Carne’s style of artwork and boldly decided to give it a go! I’ve had no formal art education so the prelude to creating was invaluable! I was amazed how much I learned and very happy with my project!
