A good course on urban sketching though perhaps there was more emphasis on watercolour. I enjoyed the course and Alex is a good teacher but I'd like to have understood more about the decision making when making the initial ink marks, e.g. what details to include or leave out.

Cours bien pensé. Rendu accessible et intéressant. On y apprend des bases faciles à mettre en pratique et des petits trucs et astuces sympa pour se projeter dans ce domaine davantage.

Architectural sketching is very different from the nature drawing that I've been practicing. I'm so glad that I took this course! Alex teaching was clear and I feel that his step by step process took me to a final piece that really worked. I learned ways to manipulate watercolor that I can use on any subject. I highly recommend this course.

I really enjoyed this course, it was easy to follow and Alex has a great way of presenting. You learn to be bold and brave with the different watercolour washes. The glasing technique is creating such a beautiful effect, I'll use it much more from now on. Thank you very much!

Alex's story, his love for films, and his dedication and passion for arts are what made me choose this course. I stopped drawing with pencils and pens for 10 years, and mainly do digital designs when I started working. His experience as a storyboard artist is very interesting as I also love movies. Though I am more fond of realism (and hyperrealism), the way he presents this art style is excellent that I find it fascinating. Alex basically made me go back to sketching :) Thank you Domestika!
