Hello Shane and community,
I am a retired industrial designer I spent 40+ years drawing objects, so my perspective skills are pretty honed. Though perspective can be applied to figure drawing, it is not a simple affair to apply this to curvilinear forms. At the end of the day I mostly produced a lot of landfill. While in art school I had one semester of figure drawing during foundation year. I fell in love.
Since I retired, I have pursued courses at the local university, taken an online course for a year, and practice from online models (covid and all.)
I’m not sure where am going with my drawing. My initial motivation was to create a legacy for my children and grandchildren. I might be interested in selling my work.
I discovered Shane On Instagram and was blown away. As soon as I saw this course I signed on. I was pleased with the content and how clearly it is presented.
