Fuat AKDENİZLİ (b.1973 / Fethiye – TURKEY)
The designer graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphics, Izmir in 1996. Until he completed his Postgraduate Program at Dokuz Eylül University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Graphics, Izmir in 2000, he worked as a graphic designer at various advertising agencies in Izmir. In 2000, he closed his own company (Sembol Design and Advertising Agency) and assigned to Akdeniz University, Department of Graphics, Antalya. In 2004, he assigned to Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphics, Izmir for doctoral studies and worked on “National Style Problem in Turkish Graphic Design After 1960”. He graduated in 2008 and reassigned to Akdeniz University, Department of Graphics, Antalya, in the same year. In 2012 he resigned from Akdeniz University and assigned to Istanbul Aydin University as assistant proffesor and Head of Graphic Design Department. In 2013 he became Associated Proffesor. In 2016 he assigned Dokuz Eylul University Fine Arts Faculty as associated proffesor and Head of Illustration and Printmaking Department. Recently, beside an academician, he also works as a graphic designer on emblems and logo designs, corporate identity works, catalogues and brochures design, web sites and advertising studies for many companies in Izmir.

The designer participiated in many exhibitions, two of which were State Printing Competitions. One of his linolleum print can be seen in the Printing Collection of State Picture and Sculpture Museum in Izmir.
