Yulia Katkova

Yulia Katkova, b. 1986, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, is a Lima (Peru) based artist whose influences include Kris Lewis, Richard Phillips, Albrecht Durer, Salvador Dali. Her works are mostly represented by sensual feminine portraits.

Yulia studied Arts at Republican Art School in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). One of her teacher was famous uzbek surreal artist Mashud Tohtaev. After finishing her studies she moved to St. Petersburg, Russia, where she worked as an art dealer & artist in gallery. Her first solo show was in 2007 in St. Petersburg. Since March 2008 Yulia is living in Lima, where she continues developing her art. First Lima solo show – 2014.

Her Works are held in the private collections of the USA, Canada, Peru, Australia, Uzbekistan and Russia.
