I have always enjoyed drawing, I graduated in Brazil in Fine Arts at the Universidade Federal of RS.Later on, I moved to the U.S. and studied Graphic Design at the University of Georgia. For a good part of my life I was mainly a mother of 3 kids and a copartner with my husband of a home building business. As my kids grew I went back to painting watercolor. I love the lightness, the portability, the cleaningness, the challenge of painting in watercolor. I am involved in local and state art groups. I have been president of my city art group for two years, and currently I am the president of the Georgia Watercolor Society. I love to interact with other artists. Through my dedication to art groups I get inspired and make new friendships. Art is a means to express our humanity and to feel at peace. In this year of pandemic, art has proved of great value to keep people sane, to keep people in touch with other people, and make our lives meaningful even at a time of hardship. Art is essential to our souls!
