Patrycia Jönsson

My name is Patrycia Jönsson (CiaJö).
Born in Poland, raised in Germany, I have been painting here in Sweden for over 4 years in my own studio located between Jämjö and Torhamn.

I started my artistic career by painting with acrylics. Later I added oil paint. I set myself my own challenges, one of which was realistic painting. In the beginning I painted mostly figuratively, but I followed the call of nature. It is always said that the artist has to find his own style, his own unique voice.
I was searching for years, but in the end the voice found me.
In my opinion, you should just paint, paint, paint. At some point you will hear the call and you will follow it...just as I am now following this call.
My studio is surrounded by nature. In my eyes, painting is one of the most beautiful and creative forms of expression. I am always inspired by nature with its shapes, colors and the changing light conditions that create a different atmosphere on the canvas.
Even as a child I was extremely creative. I spent every spare second crafting and painting. At some point my love for painting faded, but after I moved from Germany to Sweden, it blossomed again and you can see the result here. My paintings now hang in Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands. It makes me happy when I meet people who draw strength and energy from my art.
