Am a pharmacist with global experience in managing health and pharmaceutical products, particularly for HIV/AIDS. Am ethnically South East Asian, having exposure to both Indian and Pakistani preserved family culture from foods, clothes and language, being fourth generation born a d brought up in Tanzania. Having living most of my 40 years of life in Tanzania, my food exposure is a beautiful blend of African-Asian cuisines. Our preserved culture is more of a hybrid evolving culture where we keep learning new world dishes, as well as preserving old ones. And sometimes, we change our dishes giving a blend of old and new, forming a new dish!! I am inspired to write a book to preserve my memories of growing up and experiencing food as an African Child raised in South East Asian preserved culture, enjoying both worlds.
