A recently illustrated picture book, 'Dorothy & Herbert' was chosen for the Society of Illustrators (SOI) 2021 Original Art Exhibit, showcasing the best picture books published in the U.S. In past years, Julia's work has received a gold medal from SOI, with works chosen repeatedly by SOI, American Illustration, Communication Arts and 3x3 awards annuals.
