Hi and thank you for reading my introduction.
I am Gaz to family and friends. I am from South Yorkshire in the UK. I am in my mid 60's.
I lived and worked in Africa for 20 years between the 70'sand 90's, where I developed my love for wildlife and photography. I have been a photographer for over 40 years.
I am quite new to watercolour art, my interest started about 2 years ago and I have been slowly learning about equipment and techniques since then. I am coming up to retirement and would love to improve my skills with watercolour and use my own images as references to develop my own style and be more creative in the years to come.
I started my journey with "Artistic Watercolour Techniques for Illustrating Birds by Sarah Stokes and I am looking forward to leaning these techniques to paint some wildlife images as I develop as an artist.
