Der Kurs ist sehr gut strukturiert und aufgebaut. Melissa ist die geborene Lehrerin. Sie erklärt alles verständlich und zugleich mit viel Begeisterung und Liebe zum kreativen Prozess. Mit gefällt ihr Zugang zu ungewöhnlichen Farben und ihre Experimentierfreude. Ich selbst strebe keine Veröffentlichung eines Bilderbuches an, aber ich bin der Meinung, dass für jene, die dieses Ziel haben, der Kurs viele Anregungen und Tipps bietet.

It's a very good course: I loved seeing Melissa's process with the three layers of colour. Super interesting!

Wow! I really loved this course and learning from Melissa. I loved being able to basically look over her shoulder and see how her artwork was created. I am inspired to use these techniques myself. I wish I could’ve seen how she added the text… From what I could see the text looked very hand-drawn and I’m not sure if it was or if it was a special font. Great course, I will be looking forward to seeing more of her classes!

Je découvre ses influences qui agrandissent ma culture en la matière.
D'un point de vue pédagogique : elle est carré, généreuse, elle s'exprime simplement et très clairement.

Good course, very inspiring my favourite tip was the practical technique to choose your colour palette. choosing colours has always been very hard for me. thank you

A lot of insight and tips regarding the world of picturebooks. Since the instructor comes from screenprinting background, the artwork process is layered pretty much by color. The instructor also gave plenty of resources about the industry and tips on how to promote your work.
