Recomiendo este curso para quienes estamos iniciando en la acuarela. Sarah explica muy bien cada tema, y ha organizado diferentes temáticas, de tal manera que se pueda tener el proceso claro para realizar el proyecto final. De la misma forma, ofrece varias actividades que permiten usar las técnicas de acuarela en otro tipo de ilustraciones.

Easy to follow, helpful suggestions.

I love this course. I like the fact that I can go at my own pace and can review the material later. Sarah Stokes has a great pace and a very personal manner. Her quiet tone and professional approach is very much appreciated, yet this course is excellent for beginners! I will definitely take another course from Sarah and would recommend it to my friends.

I highly recommend this course! I have learned a ton about finding the right balance of water and pigment, ways to edit work in progress, being able to see and express difference tonal values in painting, and how to compose and prepare pieces--so much more than I was learning trying to teach myself through YouTube videos. Plus, it was joy to experience Sarah's beautiful, realistic, vibrant, and playful painting style through this course.

I learnt a great deal about colour mixing and creating shading. It was thoroughly enjoyable and would love more projects to follow.

I do recommend this course for beginners and beyond. Sarah's lessons are well thought out and done step by step. She shared many ideas and work of artists that have influenced her. She covers everything you will need to grow in your work. I plan on giving this gift to a friend and will refer back to it often.

Very good course, Sarah is a great teacher. She is clear in her explanation and takes the time to show in detail how she builds up the colours. Looking at her various paintings, she has a beautiful and very personal style which I find inspiring. I'd recommend this course for beginners and intermediates especially. Looking forward to a new class with her.

Fantastic course. Content and steps are well thought through, Sarah (the tutor) is really engaging and lots of hints, tips and techniques to take away to other projects. I’d highly recommend for both beginners and more experienced artists. Also, I really enjoy seeing the work of others who have/are attending the course. Very inspiring.

Lots of good information in here, some good practice exercises and techniques as well. I felt pretty much all of the information was very useful, and would recommend it to anyone looking to get started in watercolors. (Or someone who is familiar with watercolors maybe looking for some new tips or tricks to improve on their art with.)

It was fun watching video lessons, practicing new techniques, choosing reference images for my project, and creating the final piece.

I particularly liked Sarah’s style - both the artistic mix of loose and realistic techniques in the same painting, and the gentle way of presenting them in the videos.

I loved this course. I'm newly retired and following my next path in life. Watercolor painting has made an unusual crossover from a research laboratory to an art studio, and this course was just the thing to give me a little confidence that I can actually paint!
