I am and artist, interior designer and educator. I teach drawing to interior design students. In my art practice I am very interested in abstraction and creating images that surprise me... something I haven't seen before that gives tangible form to the intangible. I mostly use oil paint and lately I have been painting on timber board a lot so I can sand into and scrape the surface, adding and subtracting paint. I thought this course would be interesting to work in a book rather than on canvas/board and engage with ways of doing things that may influence my work to incorporate and combine other methods beyond my usual go-to's.
