Well, in addition to the advice from the last unit, I would add advice such as: look at the real world a lot, there are no better examples than our life itself. Look out the window, look at photographs, watch videos ... try to learn how the world works: how different biomes work, how atmospheric phenomena work, how light works, etc ... I'm not kidding you that being a mattepainter you learn a lot about biology, geology, climatology ... come on, you have to know everything about this world haha!
When you learn concepts about this, it is easier for you to do a work, because you already know how some things are related to others: the type of vegetation and how it is formed in different biomes, how a certain light affects a certain time of day in everything, and millions of examples like that ...
