You applied the light technique without noticeable errors or jumps, congratulations @marquez-photodesign !
I really like the direction of the light, as well as the place in general (that stone texture is cool)
Picking up the pencil sharpener a bit, I see that the left weight generated by the clarity / light ends up taking it too far to the door. I see her too protagonist: girl, boy & door. As well as the progressive fading of light in the lower part of the boy and in the right area they have been great, in the door area I see that: too much light and a correct cut, but not very progressive.
Perhaps with a somewhat more dead door area in terms of lighting, the protagonists would "jump" a lot more at sight. Either way, the technique is nailed!
Thank you very much for the comment, the place is an alley that goes up from the Cáceres Town Hall, in the Old Town. The issue of light, the truth is that I did several tests and the one I liked the most was that, more than anything, because I liked the symbolism of the door number, which says door 2 and just below is the couple, I tried removing light from above the door, but it was very dark and you couldn't see the number; For what I wanted to count I was not worth it if that number was not seen.
Regarding the course, I have loved it, it has been a technique that I did not know and with which I have loved working, it has fun a lot and it has opened up new photographic possibilities for future work.
It has been a pleasure taking this course.
Hello again @marquez-photodesign !
After reading your answer and seeing that your intention was to mark the door / number, I understand the emphasis you have wanted to give when lighting. So since there the thing is already more for intention or personal taste, nothing to add!
Thank you very much for your comment, it is good to know that you liked the course and that it has helped you to incorporate new possibilities. That was the goal so THANK YOU again! You make my day! :)
