You handled the proportions really well, and the space is very believable. I'd suggest adjusting the relative positions of the characters slightly for critique. At the moment, they're walking so close together (her foot is literally behind his) that they'd have to walk in perfect synchronisation for it to work. This is a really common habit that all artists draw. We are so invested in making the characters look intimate that we end up drawing them almost as a single object : ).
Give them a little more space, and you've got yourself an even better piece! Also: You drew the faces really nicely!
