Hello Rob, happy new year! Congratulations on completing the course and thank you for sharing your final project.
Here are my comments for each photo:
1. I like the composition and the blurred background. The fact that she is hiding behind the hood and mask is intriguing, but I would still have liked to see some of her face, maybe just a bit of her eyes. Eyes are always very expressive.
2. Very nice, perfectly lit street scene.
3. I love how you managed to capture such a spontaneous moment, it makes me guess if the man will eat his sandwich or throw it in the bin. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but it works! Technically speaking, I think the parts in shadow are a bit too dark, maybe you could bring them up slightly in Lightroom?
4. This is such a great photo because you lowered down and chopped everyone's faces. I would have lowered even more, almost at ground level to give prominence to the dog.
5. This is intriguing, for an instant I thought it was a real person, not a painting. To understand that it's a mural I would have included more of the wall/building. Also, to understand the scale of the painting, you could have placed a person in the frame.
6. I think this picture works very well in black and white, it makes it very artistic. It must have been very hard to expose because of the lack of light and really white walls and floor. You did well.
Keep practising and, most importantly, enjoy this beautiful art that is photography!
Giulia! Happy New Year to you too! Thank you very much for your feedback. I really appreciate it and I value it very much !!!!
Like you said, keep practicing and enjoy photography! :) Thank you!!!
