Hello Raúl, how good are you! I like the composition, but especially the light and the color. The first one is great and I love the one with the lady in red. I see that you are still full. Let's see when the book. A hug!

I have spent a few months distracted and frustrated with the pandemic. But I have returned to the streets and this course by Gustavo has given me the last push. The book has nothing left, but I take it calmly I do not stop seeing it and editing it I suppose it will be the state of mind. @zartron a big hug, Alberto!

Teacher PlusIt's very good, Raul @swag53 .
You managed to create a very cohesive essay aesthetically, with strong colors and spot lights marking the characters. In addition, the mood of the images also has uniformity. There is a certain tension of the pandemic times in the air, suspicious looks and characters that seem a little alienated in their environment.
My favorites are 1, 2, 3 and 9.
Notice how in most of the photos your compositions are very frontal and direct, but in 1 and 2 I believe that you managed to give more dynamism to the image, because there are triangles and lines of light guiding the look towards the main character.
I think there are details to be improved in some.
At 6, for example, I see people very far away on the board, and there is nothing very special that calls my attention. The floor takes up a lot of space in the photo, and the action of people is also not enough to make a good photo, in my opinion.
At 7, I also think you could try to get a little closer to people (I don't know if it was possible), although the sign and the red are interesting parts. Are you working with a fixed or zoom lens?
Anyway, great job for a weekend!

Thank you very much @gustavominas ! I usually use Fujinon 27mm but I have been experimenting with the Fuji TV for this job. I feel very comfortable with 27mm but I have forced myself to work with TV after watching your course and the truth is that I liked it a lot.
I look a lot for the triangles in the compositions although sometimes it is very difficult to find them in a correct way in the scene, thanks to your course one of the things that I have learned is to work more in depth on the scenes and not leave many things to chance although I admit that luck is very important in this type of photography.
I also have plenty of photograph 6 but I did not know which one to bridge between the two parts in which the essay is divided, it seemed like a good idea for light reasons but I agree with you that this is out of context. And on the 7th I took photos closer to the couple but that platform was on top of a bridge and if I got closer I would take out railings or other elements that spoiled the composition, I took many photos because the light seemed very interesting but the ones I took closer other elements were distracting. I agree that the poster takes all the attention in the composition and should have balanced the scene a bit more.
I wanted to ask you any questions regarding the processing?
-What do you think of blacks? Should I upload them so that they are not so plastered? I know it is a matter of taste but I am interested in knowing your opinion.
-And another question I had is ... The parts that have a colder tone such as the walls or the floors, there is some way to balance the color temperature without the treatment being very striking.
Thank you very much @gustavominas ! I was very excited about the course and the truth is that you have not disappointed at all. Very complete and very easy to understand. Now we just have to keep working and moving forward.
All the best!

Teacher Plus@swag53 Yes, I think it might be interesting for you to experiment with a 16-50mm or 18-55mm.
About your questions:
- It really is a matter of taste and depends on the image. If I think there are interesting details in the dark parts, I leave more details in the shadows. But if the details in the low lights add nothing to the photo, then I like to make blacks deeper.
- Yes, I think you can make a mask with the brush specifically for the wall or floor, and then increase the color temperature, or even desaturate it a little, so that it becomes more neutral.
Saludos!

I really like your street portraits and how you portray urban humanity, those people, some unsuspecting and others flat, give life to a city so rough, hostile, gray and plastic. The colors are great! Greetings!
