Did you use aluminum foil as a base? I was intrigued by the last photo. I never used it as a base, is it a good idea? How is it carried with the needle?

@caroindy Thank you for the positive feedback!!! Actually, it’s plastic. I think it just looks like aluminum foil because of the way the light hits it. I used it to cover up the head to keep the long hair out of the way. I can’t use wool because I’m allergic to it. Instead, I use polyfill batting for the base. I do a carding technique on acrylic yarn and I use that instead of wool. Anyway, I love your work! I follow you on Instagram . . . very inspiring! :)

@blubyrell Thanks! For the Claws, I used Sculpey Oven-Bake Clay. I also used it to make the teeth, tongue, nose, and eyes.
