Fernando Pérez Gómez studied illustration at the UNAM Faculty of Arts and Design and it was then that he created his personal project “Aleck's Ink”. He began uploading content to his social networks, began to have some work opportunities in the sector and completed a diploma in graphic narrative of children's books.

He has worked on concept art projects for private companies such as Cartoon Network and PGS Company, and also for clients in different parts of the world, such as the United States, Israel, Chile, Germany and France, among others. He won honorable mention a couple of times in the Character design Challenge, as well as the “show your power” contest, organized by B:oost and GAMA. Since 2019, he has taught classes at the ESCENA art and animation school.
