Vanessa Victoria

I’m a production and costume designer, and an art director for theater and independent films. I have also worked as a fashion designer and illustrator since 2005. I have been creating strange characters and stories since I can remember and I am constantly building a world for my puppets and paper sculptures. I’ve been teaching myself stop motion animation, and animation in general on and off for a few years, and doing a few experiments for my poetry and other short writings. I am also learning cinematography and love optics in general. But I am finally ready to learn from the professionals so I can make the films and tell the stories I have been dreaming of, using all of my experience, talent and the skills I have developed through the years. I’m a bit of a carpenter, and stage designer and I so love working with my hands. I am constantly imagining stories for my puppets and now it’s time to make them a reality. Building worlds is what I do basically, so now it’s time to set them in motion. .
