Pip Carter

Hello, I am Pip Carter. Originally from England, I now live in Swansea, Wales, UK.

I enjoy roaming the wild and rolling Gower and Pembrokeshire coasts with my sketchbook, taking inspiration from nature. I also like wild swimming, riding my bike, rug hooking, and learning Spanish and Welsh.

Previously, I have created illustrations using both modern and traditional methods. I work by hand using ink, pencil, and watercolour, and I also create digital art using Photoshop and Procreate. I am excited to revisit gouache (for the first time since my art foundation at York College in the 1990s!). I am also interested in revisiting printmaking, especially linocut. My work is colourful and expressive, with hints of humour and joy.
