I have always loved plants! They feed my soul as well as bring pleasure to my home. I have a minor in botany, have been a gardener for most of my life, and since moving to Mexico, have started taking photos of plants. I have designed and produced a guidebook: Tropical Plants of Puerto Vallarta with over 200 color photos and information focusing on the history and medicinal uses of local plants. It is in its third edition. I also give cultural walking tours where I include local plants and their interesting stories. I am "drawn" to botanical watercolors and now hope to master this art form for my own pleasure.
