Damini

Damini is the founder of Studio Damu. She is a Graphic Designer and Photographer based in Jaipur, India with 10+ years of experience working in the field of built heritage, architecture and design. She completed her masters in Graphic Design in New Media from IED, Florence, Italy in 2022. As part of a college project, her brand design project was the winner for Consorzio Montecucco’s new Branding & Identity. Her keen interest to pursue editorial & book design as a specialisation led her to participate at the Printing with Movable Type at NID, Ahmedabad 2024, Book Binding course by New Delhi Book Works 2024 and Porto Design Summer School 2023, Portugal. One of her editorial projects has been featured in Slanted Magazine #42 - Books. She is currently working with cultural organisations and brands from Jaipur and New Delhi, with a focus in editorial, visual identity, packaging and photography projects.

In her after hours, she keeps journals, makes postcard series, analog collages and zines of her personal experiences and travels. Tangible arts and crafts which involve use of hands are of special interest to her.
