Stefano Zugno

is a young architect from Italy graduated from University IUAV of Venice with a Master degree in architecture and culture of project.
He completed his studies with a final thesis focusing on urban strategy and reconstruction in Iraq where he received a special mention in an international competition called “Design Against War” organized by Emergency which is an independent and neutral association that guarantees quality and free care to the victims of wars.
When it comes to professional experience, he has been working at international architecture companies in Copenhagen, where he could experience multiple design process approaches on large scale projects and interior design that contributed to his view on architecture.
What mainly inspires his design ideas is the careful analysis of the site and its social environment, how the architecture should become part of it and merge with the place where people live.
