Liesl Smit

I studied textile design and technology and have been working in the textile industry for 25+ years. For the last 6 years I managed a factory that manufactured high end designer handbags using mainly leather and canvas but also sisal baskets and other locally available material. I have always liked working with my hands and recently became very interested in upholstery and furniture recycling. I have tried my hands at a few projects but would like to learn more.
