I am Shorena Imesashvili from Georgia. Georgia is located on the border of the European and Asian continents and, due to the volcanic mountain system of the Caucasus, is distinguished by its diverse nature.
Since university, I have had frequent contact with Aboriginal crafts and culture, which has helped me better understand the characteristics, character, attitude, and content of Georgian indigenous art.
After that, I walked around all the regions of my country - I hiked in the mountains and in the plains, in the desert and in tropical regions. I climbed the passes and memorized the peaks of the Caucasus seen from there, I spent the night in alpine and subalpine nature and met the sunrise.Over the course of 10 years, my eye has become accustomed to the natural arrangement of wild and untouched nature.
I want my course to be "Georgian Endemic in Landscape Design"
Since ancient times, Georgian people have been actively collecting and using plants from the wild. For example, the "Golden Fleece" is enough, the main character of which - Medea - was from Georgia, and the word "medicine" comes from her name. Over the centuries, a close relationship has been formed between the population and endemic nature,Which was completely destroyed after the Soviet invasion of Georgia. I want this forgotten relationship to be restored and endemic nature to return in the same amount to the living environment and daily life of the people.
