I paint to remind the viewer of the wonder of this existence despite the ugliness of the human condition. I encourage them to slow down and reconnect with both the wilderness and their own inner nature. There is no going back and correcting in watercolor. Life is much the same, but we can make peace with ourselves for our mistakes and with the world at large. I hope by looking at my work people can find a moment of peace and wonder in the midst of this shambolic world.
