Wilhelmina Perry

I will be 87 this December and I am very grateful to still be here considering Covid and the stresses of this past year. I have had an extremely active and exciting life working as a faculty and practitioner of social work in communities around the US and in Puerto Rico. The first part of my life has been one of teaching community development in low income communities with community activists. Since the death of my life long partner in 2002, I have dedicated my life to advocating and teaching in the LGBTQIA+ community especially the Black community. I am a Black lesbian activist.
