My project for course: Creative Fashion Illustration Techniques

My final project is called
' Marine Mosaic Gala'
Where I have taken inspiration from marine life and it's elements have used in creating embroidery and motifs for this Indian contemporary garment. This consists of a long flowy skirt which is partially see through with embroidered motifs that are attached as appliqués on it . To create tactile element that I have learned from this course I tried creating fish fins from butter paper to give it the texture of a pleated stiff fabric. I tried creating a complete design board to convey my theme and story behind this garment.
