Thank you Sarah for such an engaging and enjoyable course. I really appreciated your friendly teaching style, which made me feel safe and supported throughout. As a beginner to watercolour, when there is so much to learn, that's just what is needed! I've learnt a lot, have a long way to go, but you're an inspiration.
I did two versions of the final project, this being the second, as I felt the background of the first went a bit awry when I tried to darken it around the daisies! I painted this second version to try to learn from my mistakes. I painted it more quickly than first time round, and maybe the bees weren't perfect, but overall I felt it came out better than the initial attempt.

Und wow, was für ein Unterschied zwischen den beiden Teilen. Ja, der zweite ist bei weitem der größere Erfolg. Es hat eine so schöne, ruhige Atmosphäre. Es hängt zusammen und liest sich sehr gut. Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Abschluss des Kurses und ich wünsche Ihnen viel Spaß und weiterhin viel Erfolg beim Aquarellieren.
