I used a wide and short sketch book for the first time and I didn’t really center the painting well. I should have cropped the photo. Still feel a bit wobbly painting. I left the car out and the old cement in the walk way as it would be confusing. I tried to stick to a color palette which I am getting used to doing. This photo was one i took a few years ago of a garden that was built in a natural garden. You are looking at the top of the garden and it is terraced to the bottom about 50 feet below this level with a tunnel at either end. It is called the Sunken Garden in Prince Rupert BC.

Lehrkraft PlusVielen Dank für das Teilen deines Gemäldes! Du hast ein ziemlich schwieriges Foto ausgewählt, aber du hast es wirklich gut gemeistert! Besonders all das üppige Laub. Die Art und Weise, wie das Licht die Bank auf dem Foto einfängt, macht sie ziemlich lebendig, es ist schön, das auf dem Gemälde zu sehen, da es ihr helfen würde, sich abzuheben und einen schönen Kontrast zu all dem Grün auf dem Gemälde zu bilden.
