Quick Oyster Soup - Version One

These are versions one and two of my final project. I drew the bowl, spoon, oysters, celery, and cloth outline in black ink, scanned them, and then uploaded them to Ai for live tracing and live painting. I had not used Ai before so this was a serious challenge for me. I spent a lot of time reading tutorials and getting familiar with swatches and fx tools. I did not use my hand-lettering for this recipe. It was enough of a challenge to learn how to use the Ai text tools - LOL! I will try the hand-lettering on my next food illustration though. I absolutely loved this course and your teaching style! I've never been able to learn from videos before (I'm a reader); however, I was able to follow your steps easily. I am hoping you do an illustrated map one next. :-) Thank you so much for the course!
