Maria Ericsdottir Panduro

Hello! My name is Maria but friends and family call me Mia. I am a social designer and brand strategist (20+ years) and founder of Karousel, Mia Reykjavik and Reykjavik Art Print. I'm interested in design and advertising that enriches our lives and I focus on utilising design theory to initiate communication and create processes for the purpose of social development and woman's empowerment. I am a Scandinavian mix with a background in the US, Denmark, the UK and Africa, and currently reside in Iceland where I work as an Art Director at my design agency Karousel (Insta: @karousel_kollective). I recently started a concept brand called Mia Reykjavik (Insta: @miareykjavik) where I use fully traceable and ethically sourced gold and recycled silver. What drives this initiative is a passion for sustainable natural resource management that funds social development and protects the environment.
