I am a mother, a writer, and an artist. I prefer writing screenplays. I am very dedicated to learning new things and caring for my family. I love being a mother. I am a daughter who does her best to take care of both parents, especially one with an illness. I am also a wife. Yes, it can be a tricky balancing act, but I devote my time and energy to all of them. As a mother, I believe you’re already a jack of all trades. I really enjoy writing horror and fiction, especially thrillers. I believe every wise writer has always said to write what you’re going to write, but to always tell the truth. Growing up, movies always seemed like beautiful lies, so why not write it that way? I genuinely believe the best films present two truths and a lie—that’s the best way to tell a lie. So, I think it’s good to lie, especially for cinema. In some cases, yes, I think they can be beautiful distractions and lies. If you ever question what is real and what isn’t in my films, please remember those things were quite real to me, which is why I prefer genres like horror and thrillers. The monsters in my films—whether they appear human or are truly human—reflect my belief that art is everywhere and in everything in this world. I think everything we touch, see, feel, and smell is art. I understand some people might interpret my words to extremes or bizarre lengths, but still.
